Des dels parcs e\u00f2lics en la Mar del Nord fins a les extenses plantes solars del sud, el continent avan\u00e7a cap a un futur m\u00e9s net, impulsat per la <strong>urg\u00e8ncia clim\u00e0tica, la innovaci\u00f3 tecnol\u00f2gica i la necessitat d&#8217;independ\u00e8ncia energ\u00e8tica.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n<p>Esdeveniments geopol\u00edtics com la guerra d&#8217;Ucra\u00efna i la volatilitat dels preus del gas han accelerat aquest canvi, convertint a les energies renovables en el nucli de les pol\u00edtiques energ\u00e8tiques de la Uni\u00f3 Europea. Per\u00f2 aquest impuls no est\u00e0 exempt de desafiaments: xarxes el\u00e8ctriques que necessiten modernitzar-se, pics de producci\u00f3 que saturen el sistema i fen\u00f2mens clim\u00e0tics extrems que posen a prova la seva resili\u00e8ncia. <\/p>\n\n<p>En aquest article explorem <strong>l&#8217;estat actual de les renovables a Europa,<\/strong> amb dades recents, tend\u00e8ncies per pa\u00eds, fites aconseguides i reptes que marcaran la seva evoluci\u00f3 en la d\u00e8cada vinent.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Renovables a Europa: panorama general i progr\u00e9s recent<\/h2>\n\n<p>En 2023, les energies renovables van representar el 24,5% del consum final brut d&#8217;energia de la Uni\u00f3 Europea, d&#8217;acord amb l&#8217;informe <a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/eurostat\/web\/interactive-publications\/energy-2025\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u201cShedding light on energy in Europe \u2013 2025 edition\u201d<\/a>, <strong>triplicant gaireb\u00e9 el nivell del 9,6% de 2004<\/strong>. Aquest mateix any, en producci\u00f3 energ\u00e8tica, les renovables van ser la font m\u00e9s important amb un<strong> 46% del total<\/strong>, seguides per la nuclear (29%), els combustibles s\u00f2lids (17%), el gas (5%) i el petroli (3%). <\/p>\n\n<p>En <strong>l&#8217;\u00e0mbit el\u00e8ctric<\/strong>, en 2023 les renovables van suposar el <strong>45,3% del consum brut d&#8217;electricitat<\/strong>, amb vent i hidro aportant m\u00e9s de dos ter\u00e7os d&#8217;aquesta xifra (38,5% i 28,2% respectivament), seguides per solar (20,5%), biocombustibles (6,2%) i altres fonts (6,6%).<\/p>\n\n<p>No obstant aix\u00f2, <strong>en el primer trimestre de 2025, hi ha hagut un petit retroc\u00e9s de 4,3 punts (42,5%) respecte a l&#8217;any anterior<\/strong>, causat per menors rendiments en energia e\u00f2lica i hidr\u00e0ulica.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Assoliments recents i fites importants<\/h2>\n\n<p>M\u00e9s enll\u00e0 de les xifres globals, la transici\u00f3 renovable a Europa ha aconseguit fites molt significatives en els \u00faltims dos anys, demostrant que les tecnologies netes ja no s\u00f3n un complement, sin\u00f3 protagonistes del sistema el\u00e8ctric.<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Energia solar per sobre del carb\u00f3<\/strong>: Per primera vegada en la seva hist\u00f2ria, la Uni\u00f3 Europea va generar m\u00e9s electricitat mitjan\u00e7ant energia solar (11%) que amb carb\u00f3 (9%), segons l&#8217;informe <a href=\"https:\/\/ember-energy.org\/latest-insights\/european-electricity-review-2025\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">European Electricity Review 2025<\/a> de Ember.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>R\u00e8cord en producci\u00f3 d&#8217;electricitat amb renovables:<\/strong> En 2024, gaireb\u00e9 la meitat de l&#8217;electricitat de la UE <strong>(el 47%) va ser d&#8217;origen renovable<\/strong>. L&#8217;e\u00f2lica va superar al gas per segon any consecutiu i, al costat de la nuclear, es va aconseguir <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/europe-renewables-climate-change-solar-wind-fossil-fuels-4a6ff96bbde3251cb42109e1d9d4b399\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">gaireb\u00e9 el 75% sense emissions.<\/a> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Capacitat renovable r\u00e8cord en 2025:<\/strong> S&#8217;espera que la UE afegeixi <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.power-technology.com\/news\/eu-renewable-capacity\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">89 GW de nova capacitat renovable<\/a><\/strong>, inclosos <strong>70 GW de solar<\/strong> i <strong>19 GW d&#8217;e\u00f2lica<\/strong>, superant el r\u00e8cord de 2024.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Desafiaments clim\u00e0tics i del sistema el\u00e8ctric<\/h2>\n\n<p>El creixement de les energies renovables <strong>no \u00e9s un cam\u00ed f\u00e0cil ni lliure d&#8217;obstacles:<\/strong> canvis meteorol\u00f2gics, saturaci\u00f3 de xarxes, o infraestructures insuficients, amenacen amb frenar aquest avan\u00e7 si no es prenen mesures.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Retroc\u00e9s en hidr\u00e0ulica i e\u00f2lica<\/h3>\n\n<p>Entre gener i juny de 2025, l&#8217;electricitat generada amb energia hidr\u00e0ulica va caure un <strong>15%<\/strong> respecte a l&#8217;any anterior, quedant-se en un <strong>12,5% del total<\/strong>. Aix\u00f2 significa <strong>164 TWh<\/strong> produ\u00efts, quan en 2024 havia estat bastant m\u00e9s. El vent tamb\u00e9 va bufar menys de l&#8217;habitual en els primers mesos de l&#8217;any, la qual cosa va reduir la producci\u00f3 e\u00f2lica. Quan falta aigua i vent, \u00e9s m\u00e9s dif\u00edcil mantenir la xarxa nom\u00e9s amb renovables, i cal buscar alternatives.   <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">M\u00e9s gas i carb\u00f3 per a compensar<\/h3>\n\n<p>Per a cobrir aquesta falta de renovables, les centrals de gas i carb\u00f3 van haver de produir m\u00e9s electricitat. Segons Ember, en la primera meitat de 2025 la generaci\u00f3 amb combustibles f\u00f2ssils va augmentar un 13% enfront del mateix per\u00edode de 2024. El gas va pujar un 19% i el carb\u00f3 una mica menys, per\u00f2 tots dos van sumar 45,7 TWh extra d&#8217;electricitat. La demanda, a m\u00e9s, va ser un <strong>2,2%<\/strong> m\u00e9s alta que l&#8217;any anterior, la qual cosa tamb\u00e9 va pressionar al sistema.   <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Un r\u00e8cord solar\u2026 amb un sistema que necessita adaptar-se<\/h3>\n\n<p>Al juny de 2025 va oc\u00f3rrer una cosa hist\u00f2rica: per primera vegada, l&#8217;energia solar va ser la major font d&#8217;electricitat a la Uni\u00f3 Europea. Va generar el <strong>22,1%<\/strong> de tota l&#8217;electricitat del mes, <strong>per sobre de la nuclear (21,8%) i de l&#8217;e\u00f2lica (15,8%)<\/strong>. Va ser un assoliment impressionant, per\u00f2 tamb\u00e9 va evidenciar un problema: quan hi ha molta producci\u00f3 solar, per\u00f2 les xarxes i l&#8217;emmagatzematge no estan preparats, es generen desequilibris i desaprofitaments d&#8217;energia. Per aix\u00f2, Ember adverteix que <strong>ser\u00e0 clau invertir en bateries, xarxes m\u00e9s robustes i sistemes flexibles<\/strong> per a aprofitar al m\u00e0xim aquesta electricitat neta.   <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">M\u00e9s inversi\u00f3 i impuls estructural<\/h2>\n\n<p>L&#8217;expansi\u00f3 de les energies netes a Europa no sols s&#8217;explica pels objectius clim\u00e0tics, sin\u00f3 tamb\u00e9 pel volum sense precedents de capital que s&#8217;est\u00e0 destinant al sector. Segons l&#8217;informe<br\/><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.iea.org\/reports\/world-energy-investment-2025\/european-union\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">World Energy Investment 2025 \u2013 European Union<\/a><\/em><br\/>de <strong>l&#8217;Ag\u00e8ncia Internacional de l&#8217;Energia (IEA)<\/strong>, en 2025 la Uni\u00f3 Europea ha invertit gaireb\u00e9 <strong>390 mil milions de d\u00f2lars<\/strong> en energies netes \u2014incloent generaci\u00f3 renovable, xarxes el\u00e8ctriques i tecnologies baixes en carboni\u2014, una xifra <strong>35 vegades superior<\/strong> a la destinada a combustibles f\u00f2ssils sense sistemes de captura de CO\u2082. Aquest esfor\u00e7 inversor situa a la UE com una de les regions l\u00edders en la transici\u00f3 energ\u00e8tica a nivell mundial.  <\/p>\n\n<p>El mateix informe indica que <strong>la inversi\u00f3 en efici\u00e8ncia energ\u00e8tica \u2014especialment en el sector de l&#8217;edificaci\u00f3, amb mesures com la rehabilitaci\u00f3 t\u00e8rmica i la climatitzaci\u00f3 eficient\u2014 va aconseguir en 2025 els 100 mil milions de d\u00f2lars<\/strong>, la qual cosa suposa el doble de l&#8217;invertit fa una d\u00e8cada. Aix\u00f2 reflecteix que, al costat de la producci\u00f3 d&#8217;energia neta, la reducci\u00f3 del consum \u00e9s un pilar estrat\u00e8gic per a complir amb els objectius de descarbonitzaci\u00f3. <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">El paper de les empreses privades i els PPAs<\/h3>\n\n<p>A m\u00e9s de les pol\u00edtiques p\u00fabliques, les empreses estan assumint un rol m\u00e9s actiu en el finan\u00e7ament de projectes renovables. Segons <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ft.com\/content\/f2901ca4-438c-45f2-a53f-32e86ab387bb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Financial Times<\/a>, els <strong>acords de compra d&#8217;energia renovable a llarg termini<\/strong> (<em>Power Purchase Agreements<\/em> o PPAs) signats per grans companyies tecnol\u00f2giques, industrials i del sector serveis van cr\u00e9ixer de manera notable en 2025. Aquest tipus de contractes garanteixen ingressos estables als promotors de parcs solars i e\u00f2lics, facilitant la construcci\u00f3 de noves instal\u00b7lacions i contribuint a l&#8217;estabilitat del mercat el\u00e8ctric.  <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Panorama per pa\u00efsos destacats<\/h2>\n\n<p>En 2024, les renovables a <strong>Alemanya <\/strong>van generar entre el <strong>59% i el 63% de l&#8217;electricitat<\/strong>, amb fort pes de <strong>l&#8217;e\u00f2lica (31,5%)<\/strong> i la <strong>solar (14%)<\/strong> segons dades de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ise.fraunhofer.de\/content\/dam\/ise\/en\/documents\/press-releases\/2025\/0125_ISE_en_PR_electricity_generation2024.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Fraunhofer ISE<\/a>. No obstant aix\u00f2, en la primera meitat de 2025 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/sustainability\/boards-policy-regulation\/slow-wind-speeds-reduce-renewable-share-german-power-2025-07-15\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">van baixar al <strong>54,5% <\/strong><\/a>per menor vent i hidroel\u00e8ctrica. Alemanya continua ampliant el seu solar (32% del mix a l&#8217;abril 2025) i bateries, amb plans de <strong>70 GW d&#8217;e\u00f2lica marina per a 2045.<\/strong>  <\/p>\n\n<p>A <strong>Espanya<\/strong>, les renovables van cobrir el <strong>50,3<\/strong>% de la demanda en 2023, i en 2024 van pujar al <strong>56<\/strong>% segons <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ree.es\/en\/press-office\/press-release\/news\/press-release\/2025\/01\/renewable-energies-generated-56-per-cent-spains-electricity-mix-2024\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Xarxa El\u00e8ctrica<\/a>. El vent i la solar lideren el mix, per\u00f2 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spglobal.com\/commodity-insights\/en\/news-research\/latest-news\/electric-power\/052925-solar-curtailments-to-become-new-normal-in-spain-amid-challenging-ppa-economics\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">l&#8217;exc\u00e9s de producci\u00f3<\/a> provoca <strong>preus zero o negatius <\/strong>en fins a un ter\u00e7 de les hores de maig 2025 i abocaments solars recurrents. El pa\u00eds impulsa projectes h\u00edbrids solar+bateria amb fons europeus per a alleujar la saturaci\u00f3.  <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Dinamarca<\/strong> \u00e9s un referent en e\u00f2lica. En 2023, el 59% de la seva electricitat va provenir de turbines e\u00f2liques, la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iea.org\/countries\/denmark\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">quota m\u00e9s alta de la UE.<\/a> El pa\u00eds busca aconseguir un <strong>100% d&#8217;electricitat renovable en 2030<\/strong>, secundant-se en l&#8217;expansi\u00f3 offshore en la Mar del Nord i en interconnexions amb Alemanya i Su\u00e8cia.  <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Su\u00e8cia <\/strong>combina un <strong>s\u00f2lid parc hidroel\u00e8ctric<\/strong> amb energia e\u00f2lica creixent. En 2023, m\u00e9s del <strong>65% de la seva electricitat va ser renovable<\/strong>, la qual cosa converteix al pa\u00eds en <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iea.org\/countries\/sweden\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">un dels sistemes m\u00e9s descarbonitzades d&#8217;Europa<\/a>. A m\u00e9s, el seu sector industrial est\u00e0 apostant per hidrogen verd (exemple: projecte <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hybritdevelopment.se\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">HYBRIT <\/a>en acer sense f\u00f2ssils).  <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Fran\u00e7a <\/strong>t\u00e9 un model particular: <strong>l&#8217;energia nuclear<\/strong> continua sent dominant, amb m\u00e9s del <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.iea.org\/countries\/france\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">60% de l&#8217;electricitat en 2023<\/a><\/strong>. No obstant aix\u00f2, les renovables han crescut fins a un <strong>27% del mix el\u00e8ctric<\/strong>, amb especial augment de la <strong>solar fotovoltaica<\/strong> i <strong>l&#8217;e\u00f2lica onshore<\/strong>. Fran\u00e7a tamb\u00e9 ha desenvolupat projectes emblem\u00e0tics d&#8217;<strong>e\u00f2lica marina<\/strong> (com Saint-*Nazaire) i cerca <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rte-france.com\/en\/home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">aconseguir <\/a>un <strong>40% d&#8217;electricitat renovable en 2030.<\/strong>  <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>It\u00e0lia <\/strong>ha apostat fort per la <strong>solar fotovoltaica<\/strong>, que en 2023 va generar m\u00e9s del <strong>10% de l&#8217;electricitat<\/strong> nacional, mentre que el conjunt de renovables va aportar al voltant del <strong>36%<\/strong>, segons les <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gse.it\/dati-e-scenari\/statistiche\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">dades del GSE \u2013 Gestore Servizi Energetic<\/a>i. En 2024, el pa\u00eds va registrar un r\u00e8cord en noves instal\u00b7lacions solars (m\u00e9s de 5 GW afegits) i cerca arribar a un <strong>65% de renovables en electricitat per a 2030<\/strong> (IEA). It\u00e0lia tamb\u00e9 enfronta reptes en emmagatzematge i modernitzaci\u00f3 de xarxes, especialment en el sud, on la generaci\u00f3 solar excedeix a vegades la capacitat de transport.  <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Reptes per a consolidar l&#8217;avan\u00e7 de renovables<\/h2>\n\n<p>El fort creixement renovable a Europa ha demostrat <strong>que la transici\u00f3 energ\u00e8tica \u00e9s possible, per\u00f2 tamb\u00e9 ha revelat limitacions<\/strong> que han de resoldre&#8217;s per a garantir un sistema estable, segur i sostenible. Entre els principals desafiaments destaquen: <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Modernitzaci\u00f3 de xarxes el\u00e8ctriques i ampliar interconnexions<\/h3>\n\n<p>Moltes infraestructures europees tenen m\u00e9s de 40 anys i no estan preparades per a absorbir la producci\u00f3 renovable creixent. La Comissi\u00f3 Europea estima que seran necessaris 584.000 milions d&#8217;euros fins a 2030 per a refor\u00e7ar, digitalitzar i ampliar les xarxes (European Commission). A m\u00e9s, interconnexions m\u00e9s fortes entre pa\u00efsos ajudarien a aprofitar millor els excedents, evitant apagades com el que va afectar a Espanya i <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/business\/energy\/portugal-says-power-outage-shows-need-eu-help-fund-grid-modernisation-2025-06-25\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Portugal <\/a>a l&#8217;abril de 2025.<br\/><br\/>  <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Impulsar l&#8217;emmagatzematge energ\u00e8tic<\/h3>\n\n<p>El desplegament massiu de bateries i sistemes d&#8217;emmagatzematge a gran escala \u00e9s clau per a equilibrar la producci\u00f3 solar i e\u00f2lica. Avui, <a href=\"https:\/\/modoenergy.com\/research\/jun-2025-iberia-spain-bess-battery-energy-storage-buildout-capex-hydro-transmission-solar-prices\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Espanya<\/a> a penes t\u00e9 <strong>18 MW de bateries aut\u00f2nomes instal\u00b7lades<\/strong>, enfront dels <strong>5,6 GW del Regne Unit<\/strong>. La UE ja ha llan\u00e7at fons espec\u00edfics per a accelerar projectes h\u00edbrids solar+bateria i cerca aconseguir diversos GW nous de capacitat d&#8217;aqu\u00ed a 2030.  <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Flexibilitzaci\u00f3 del consum<\/h3>\n\n<p>Per a aprofitar tota l&#8217;energia renovable, ser\u00e0 necessari adaptar la demanda a l&#8217;oferta. Aix\u00f2 inclou tarifes din\u00e0miques, incentius perqu\u00e8 ind\u00fastries ajustin el seu consum a les hores solars o e\u00f2liques, i fomentar tecnologies de gesti\u00f3 intel\u00b7ligent. Segons l&#8217;Ag\u00e8ncia Internacional de l&#8217;Energia, la flexibilitat de la demanda pot reduir en un <strong>30%<\/strong> la necessitat d&#8217;inversions en nova capacitat de generaci\u00f3.  <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Simplificar tr\u00e0mits i accelerar projectes<\/h3>\n\n<p>Un dels grans colls d&#8217;ampolla \u00e9s <strong>burocr\u00e0tic<\/strong>: en molts pa\u00efsos, els permisos per a nous parcs e\u00f2lics o solars triguen diversos anys. La <a href=\"https:\/\/energy.ec.europa.eu\/news\/eu-guidance-ensuring-electricity-grids-are-fit-future-2025-06-02_en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Comissi\u00f3 Europea proposa retallar terminis <\/a>a menys de dos anys i prioritzar zones amb baix impacte ambiental per a accelerar el desplegament. <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Estar preparats per a fen\u00f2mens clim\u00e0tics extrems<\/h3>\n\n<p>Esdeveniments de \u201cdunkelflaute\u201d (setmanes amb poc vent i sol) o hiverns secs, com va oc\u00f3rrer en 2025 amb la hidr\u00e0ulica alpina, posen a prova la seguretat del sistema. Aquests episodis mostren que, a m\u00e9s de m\u00e9s interconnexions i flexibilitat, ser\u00e0 necessari avan\u00e7ar en <strong>solucions d&#8217;emmagatzematge de llarga durada<\/strong>, com a bombament hidroel\u00e8ctric, hidrogen o bateries de nova generaci\u00f3. <\/p>\n\n<p>Europa est\u00e0 en una <strong>transici\u00f3 energ\u00e8tica profunda<\/strong>. En electricitat, ja frega o supera el 50% renovable en molts pa\u00efsos, i fins i tot va avan\u00e7ar a fonts f\u00f2ssils com el carb\u00f3. No obstant aix\u00f2, fen\u00f2mens clim\u00e0tics adversos, infraestructura insuficient i sobreproducci\u00f3 puntual amenacen l&#8217;estabilitat del sistema.
