During the conference “Fraud in the distribution of fuels: a problem for everyone for which there is a solution”, the problem and its repercussions on business activity and public coffers were analyzed. The event, held at the headquarters of the CEOE, was opened by its president, Antonio Garamendi, who joined the sector’s claims with measures to tackle the problem.
Fraud in fuel distribution not only has an impact on the activity but also hampers the competitiveness of operators who comply with the regulations and puts the continuity of the most vulnerable companies at risk. All the agents are calling for forcefulness in the fight against fraud, urgent measures to eradicate it and collaboration with the administrations to expel those criminal organizations that commit fraud.
